the warm hospitality and spacious room made our family feel at home with easy access to public transport
Our stay was wonderful! The Economy Twin Room offered plenty of space and cleanliness, while the friendly staff helped us navigate local attractions. The complimentary laundry facilities were a lifesaver.

The deep, quiet nights promote restful sleep, crucial after long adventures.
The room experience comes with a few quirks, like the lack of sufficient electrical outlets for charging devices. Bright lights in the entryway mysteriously turning on at night disrupted sleep, and the closed windows were frosted, limiting natural light. Plus, the tiny two-ounce coffee pods per day can feel quite stingy, and if you forget to request more in time, you’ll be left with none.

We feasted on epic culinary finds just a stroll away! The Italian goodies at Beer Komachi made me feel like I was back in Italy! Plus, the room was stunning—timeless and comfy with a cozy tatami area. The bathtub was untouchable magic after a long day in Kyoto.
However, they seemed a bit too stringent with their policies. I get it’s about rules, but charging for a kid over 6 and the coffee capsules could’ve used a little flexibility. It would’ve made our stay feel warmer, you know?

The Deluxe Twin Room was spacious and beautifully aligned with the photos online. Loved how quiet the surroundings were, perfect for a restful stay. The staff were accommodating and got us upgraded for free, which was a nice surprise. Having a nearby fresco market was convenient for snacks. The bathroom was immaculate with great toiletries. A highlight was the coin laundry area that really came in handy. Some minor issues included the limited electrical outlets in the room, which were a bit frustrating to manage. The frosted windows made the room feel a bit dark, although that actually helped with sleep quality. It would be nicer if the windows could open for some fresh air. Overall, a great value for the price, especially for families.

The Superior Twin Room was impressively spacious and featured a cozy tatami area that provided a perfect spot to unwind after exploring Kyoto. Amenities included air purifiers, which were particularly useful during the colder months, although the bedding was somewhat heavy for my taste.
